MIESCOR has participated in light rail projects, focusing on electrical and mechanical aspects of light rail projects. These include maintenance of the MRT 3 Overhead Catenary System (OCS); MRT 3 power supply and distribution; LRT 1 station facilities such as elevators, escalators, air conditioning; LRT 1 rehabilitation of old switch gears; MPIC Study on integration of LRT 1 and MRT 3. It continues to participate in various LRT and MRT expansion and modernization projects of the Philippines’ Department of Transportation and Communications.
